He sympathizes.
Taking charge, he pulls his cell phone out of his brown leather jacket and calls you a tow truck. You enjoy his thoughtful and engaging conversation--you have an eerie amount of things in common: your childhoods in military families, your tastes in music and books, even your weird candle-collecting hobby. You enjoy the woodsy scent of his Polo cologne, too (your favorite), and when the tow truck finally hauls your Civic from the parking lot, you accept his kind offer of a ride home.
You like the way he drives his Ford Explorer--fast and confident. Daring to hope that your luck is turning up, you suddenly notice that he's a block from your house--and you haven't given him any directions. How did he know where you live?
You ask him.
He shoots you an innocent cute grin and says he was just about to ask you.
What is your response?
Choose A) You want off this ride, pronto!
B) You give this kind knight in shining armor the benefit of the doubt.
